From April 20 to 24, the Workshop 5 · ICH as Fashion Tech-Enabled Translation and Systems Innovation for ICH was held in Beijing. Hosted by the UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia and co-organized by the International Centre for Creativity and Sustainable Development under the auspices of UNESCO and Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the five-day workshop offered participants from around the world an immersive journey exploring the innovative integration of intangible cultural heritage, fashion, and technology through a systematic curriculum design. The International Center for Creativity and Sustainable Development under the Auspices of UNESCO (Category 2) was approved at the 38th session of UNESCO General Assembly in November 2015. In 2017, the People's Government of Beijing Municipality signed the agreement with UNESCO. ICCSD becomes the world's first UNESCO Category 2 center with the theme of "creativity and sustainable development".
