2 Detroit Month of Design - Open Call is LIVE!

Exciting news from Design Core – As the stewards of Detroit's UNESCO City of Design designation we are honored to announce that the 14th Edition of the  Detroit Month of Design is officially underway, and we want YOU to be part of the magic! Apply to bring your event to the festival by submitting an idea here. Applications close on Sunday, April 21st at 11:59pm.

We're reaching out to all creative individuals, studios, cultural, government and academic institutions to invite their participation. 3 Invite to World Cities Summit 2024

Singapore would like to extend an invite for you and your city mayors to join us at this year’s World Cities Summit 2024 (WCS) - https://www.worldcitiessummit.com.sg/

Held from 2 to 4 June 2024 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore, this event brings together one of the world’s largest gathering of delegates including ministerial, tate/province governors, mayors, city leaders, urban solutions providers, and experts in their professional fields to share key knowledge and insights. Please refer to attached for this year’s programme, which cuts across five thematic tracks: Cities for People, Resilient & Regenerative Cities, Smart Cities, Sustainable Financing of Cities and Future Cities. Each track comprises plenaries and in-depth discussion sessions, special convenings and roundtables, organised with strategic partners to ensure a rich and diverse discussion.

Last year, we attracted over 2,500 in-person delegates and trade visitors from more than 50 countries, of which there were 77 high level delegates (12 Ministers and 65 Mayors). For more information on the previous edition, please refer to World Cities Summit 2022. Early Bird Conference passes are now available at S$2,000/pax, instead of S$2,500. The International Center for Creativity and Sustainable Development under the Auspices of UNESCO (Category 2) was approved at the 38th session of UNESCO General Assembly in November 2015. In 2017, the People's Government of Beijing Municipality signed the agreement with UNESCO. ICCSD becomes the world's first UNESCO Category 2 center with the theme of "creativity and sustainable development". With the support and guidance of UNESCO, the Center intends to build the world's high-level international platform that aims at creativity and sustainable development, and includes the functions of research, training, cooperation, communication, demonstration etc. The Center shall become a first-class think-tank gathering talents throughout the world, building a global renowned "laboratory of thoughts" with a focus on creativity and innovation. It shall promote cultural exchanges and cooperation, disseminate and support Chinese enterprises, technology and culture.
